Residual in transparent resin
If it remains in transparent resin, do not continue molding and perform an air shot.
In transparent resins such as PC, PMMA, and transparent ABS, residuals can be quite noticeable, and even a very small amount of "purging" residue that would not be an issue with colored materials may appear as white streaks. Such residues are not easily removed even if molding continues. If residuals become a problem with transparent resins, please stop molding temporarily, minimize the amount measured as much as possible, and use the air shot method to purge by repeatedly measuring and injecting while keeping the nozzle away from the mold. In the case of hot runners, similarly, open the mold and repeat the measuring and injecting process, discharging with an air shot. *If you would like a sample, please contact us or download the sample request form and feel free to apply via fax.
